Challenge

As part of a major organisational restructure, our client was asked to lead a global improvement program. The fear was whether a new improvement program would be seen simply as ‘just another initiative’ and that people may not want to get involved. Our client knew that without upfront, committed and enthusiastic sponsorship, any program could be compromised before it started. Creation of a compelling and interesting improvement program would assist in mitigating this risk.

Scope

  • Quickly assemble a team of experts from various industries, all with experience in working with senior sponsorship.
  • Design a customised process that used creative thinking techniques to ensure the new program looked and felt very different.
  • Create a compelling story with inspiring graphics that was world class, captivating, focused, concise and relevant to senior sponsorship.
  • Create a strategy to ensure the story would generate enthusiasm through passionate, targeted and regular communications.
  • Create a short term implementation plan to kick start the new program over the next three months.

Outcomes

  • With a relevant and compelling story, communications strategy and short term implementation plan, our client began the journey of building senior sponsorship.
  • The client was able to demonstrate why this was certainly not ‘just another initiative’ and that it could significantly improve the business.
