The ‘Project Accelerator’ begins with a brief virtual kick-off session, introducing the concept of the Success Mind Map and conducting an awareness survey. This survey forms an initial success profile, which, along with business data, is analysed to prepare for the facilitated evaluation.

The facilitated evaluation occurs over two virtual sessions of 2.5 hours each or a face-to-face session of 5 hours. It begins with a recap of context and process, followed by assessing the Success Mind Map elements at the sub-element level. Leading practices and focus questions are discussed, and comments, strengths, and opportunities are recorded, concluding with defining the maturity level for each sub-element.

This process is repeated for all nine elements and 32 sub-elements outlined in the Success Mind Map. The evaluation results identify opportunities and create an overall success maturity profile.

In the validation session, results are discussed and agreed upon, with opportunities grouped and prioritized under common themes for each element.

The action planning session concludes the ‘Project Accelerator’, with themes grouped into high-level improvement initiatives, each refined into a SMART goal. Next steps are confirmed, including progress monitoring during weekly meetings.

This two-week accelerator typically requires about 8 hours of the evaluated team’s time, providing valuable insights to implement improvements and reduce the uncertainties an organization faces when transitioning to a sustainable operation.
